NIOS Admission in Stream-1
NIOS Admission
NIOS Stream-1 admission is available to any candidate aged 14 years for secondary and 15 years for senior secondary.
Any student at the secondary level looking to complete his/her course or enhance performance can seek admission to Stream-1. Also, if a student is giving a self-certificate stating, “I have studied sufficiently well that I can now undertake a secondary course,” admission to this course can also be given.
For admission in senior secondary, the student should have passed his/her previous school class, which was secondary in nature, all over again. Proof of this is required, which is the mark sheet, and it shall be required at the time of admission.
The students will be able to sit in the private examinations and easily pass their 10th or 12th standard. No regular school admission is required. If you feel you can manage your studies without anyone babysitting you, then you are allowed to do so.
